Frances Richardson

Frances started dancing in her teens with a University group that specialised in English Country dance. She has been calling for over twenty years, with regular bookings at the major UK dance weekends, festivals and Saturday night events such as Regency Balls. She favors a light touch, whilst making sure that all the dancers feel secure in the figures.

She also enjoys Contra and Scottish Country Dancing, and she teaches the latter, having completed her Royal Scottish Country Dance Society teaching certificate ten years ago.

During the pandemic she has been asked by several groups to call programs via Zoom, and her style is to walk through such dances first to demonstrate the pattern, then to call from the screen.
