Introduction

Pinned Virtual Couples  - Face Camera
Real Couple - Face Each Other
All the Pinned ECD dances are choreographed for Pinned Couples to be dancing with each other.  Keep eye contact and interact with your partner just like you would on the dance floor.
Example 1: Shake hands with your Pinned Partner. Now together, do a Right Hand Turn.
Example 2: Face each other and do a Back to Back.
Example 3: Hold each other's hands and do a Pousette.

Submit a dance to symmetryecd@gmail.com for publication on this page.  If you write, modify, or call a Pinned dance, please give credit appropriately.

Looking Through the Looking Glass

Looking Through the Looking Glass

Music: Portabella

Choreographer: David Kloper

A1:
   - Partners advance to middle of the set, while watching screen/partner over shoulder (so L for man, R for women);
   - Set toward the screen/partner and away (so L/R for man and R/L for women);
   - Maypole like hand turn one and a half times easing out to partners side.
      i.e., each using hand closest to the screen/partner (so L hand for man and R for woman), going around once and spiral to partners side;
A2: Repeat mirror image back to place, i.e.,
   - Partners advance to middle of the set, while watching screen/partner over other shoulder (so now R for man, L for women);
   - Set toward the screen/partner and away (so now R/L for man and L/R for women);
   - Maypole like hand turn one and a half times easing out to partners side (so now R hand for man and L for woman);
B1:
   - Advance to center, and swivel to face;
   - Fall back (away) and come forward (across the phrase);
   - Cast to partners side (man over L shoulder, and women over R);
B2: Repeat mirror image back to place, i.e.,
   - Advance to center, and swivel to face;
   - Fall back (away) and come forward (across the phrase);
   - Cast to partners side (now man over R shoulder, and women over L);

I'm thinking of calling this "Through the looking glass".
