Charlie has been dancing since she was 2 and social folk dancing since about 2009, when a chance encounter led to her joining university society Warwick Folk. She started calling whilst living and dancing in San Francisco, and now dances and calls for contra, squares and English country dance, as well as dancing and teaching European folk dance (balfolk), and dancing blues. She is currently based in Cambridge (UK) where she calls regularly for the Round and Cambridge Contra. She is a founder of Cambridge’s gender-free contra dance series, Contrabridge.
