Barrett Grimm

Barrett Grimm started singing in choruses, choirs, show choirs, a cappella groups, musicals, and operettas at a very young age. He was first introduced to English country dance when he attended a beginners’ series in 2017. After dancing for a few years, his performance background made him a natural to transition into calling and teaching. His first foray into leading dances was for small groups during the COVID lockdown, and now he calls regularly for the Burlington Country Dancers.
Barrett’s calling is inclusive, encouraging, and imbued with good humor. Barrett’s face and energy are familiar at dance venues throughout much of the northeast. He lives in the foothills of Vermont’s Green Mountains.
